Sorry you were sick glad your feeling better everyone is sick here to.   And ya I think I need sweaters now its to warm for a coat but to cold just a shirt if that isnt a big deal if not Im a missionary I can use the Gospel to keep me warm. Its crazy how much my companion reminds me of Trevins brother Garrett. This week just seemed to fly by its crazy. and I could use a few more garments anything but the mesh ones Im not a fan. and ya they told use that they dont recommend it any more didnt tell us we cant but after this conference they are going to get everyone ipads to use and there will be ways of finding peoplle with that so that will be sweet. I miss you mom so much and love you so much but out here is pretty dang sweet besides the pennsilvania part these people are all flat phsyco. I have a funny story for you... we go to knock on a door and these 2 little kids come up and start talking to us and this super skinny nerdy kid is walking down the side walk and they turn to him and start calling him butt face and we are like wooo watch it and they go no we HATE HIM!! And then the nerdy kid goes YOU KNOW WHAT I WANNA BE WHEN I GWOW UP???? A MILLIONAWWW!!!!! And the kid we were talking to goes HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BE A MILLIONAWW WHEN YOU CANT EVEN BwEAK A TWIG???? And the nerdy kid runs off like napoleon dynamite and starts kicking a pole his so frustrated and the other kid goes YOUR SO WEAK I PUNCH THOSE!!!!!! HAHAHAHA these kids are like 5 it was the funniest thing ever watching them scream back and forth anyways love you lots have a good week.

Everyone here has stupid dogs like pit bulls and rottweilers or whatever my companion said that they have been attacked like 5 times by big dogs like that and hes almost stabbed a few but they got called back right before but a few of his companions got there hands bitten so send me a knife or something cause these dogs are crazy. but yesterday there was a house that had the smallest dog ever and it was puffy white and it was so dang adorable it was hilarious but i wish i could see that new one i miss normal good non home defense dogs i haven't seen a lab in forever i miss drake. the missionary life I'm not quite used to yet a lot better then the start we cant have a normal lesson with someone cause they either have crazy kids that wont get off of you or they have no friends to talk to so they use us as counselors to talk about everything in there life and cant stay focused. Its funny though when people answer the door and call out religion stupid and shut the door its only a matter of time til i blow up on someone haha they all say that their church is good enough for them cause it was good enough for their dads, their dads dad, and their dads dads dad so its tough finding people and cause this area is so tough to find people and none of the less actives answer their phone we have done a lot of tracting but come to find out that by the end of the month there is going to be no more tracting haha my companion doesnt know what the heck we will do. But theres about 2 families that are normal in the ward and aren't 65 yrs old and about to die and we had dinner with both of them and they seem to really like us i think both have 2 teenagers that hate the church and 2 from one family never go and the other 2 this last week asked the branch president to excommunicate them. that sucks that everyone is sick they are all sick over here to hope i don't get it. its ridiculous how many people over here are on unemployment or disability for stupid stuff they are all just so lazy and don't want to work its so stupid they all get given 800 a month and that's enough for their cigs so that's fine with them even the members here are like that. and then when you get a normal person answer the door and we talk to them a little they go off about obama.   I miss baseball so much probably more then any of you my body is just like hey its baseball season it sucks. there is this amish store that sells everything for super cheep so we get so much food for like 20 bucks its awesome.  

Our apt is pretty nice nothing fancy but our upstairs people have a kid screams 24/7 anyways love you guys ave a good week

haha its tough here everybody drops our apts and so we are just left to go knock doors or something. My companion said that its harder then any other area hes been to and the ap's said it was the one of the hardest. The previous most lessons taught in a week was 9 and this week our first actual week we taught 10 and so we are the new record holders and the week and a half we have been here we have taught 17 and the months record is 19 but that was last month and the fisrt week that we were here the 7 days went on to that month so we are like at 10 for this month and the acctual record is 26 so my comapnion must be really good cause he stuck with me training and then got sent to a new area he knows nothing about that is one of the hardest in the mission. but still dont think ive seen someone under 250 lbs haha and the people here are like the rudest people knocking on doors everyone tells us how stupid we are and my companion says its nothing like hes used to, we did have one cool experience though where this guy was just balling cause everything life was going wrong and he was sitting there wondering why God was doing it to him then we knocked on his door and we talked to him for a few hours and gave him a book of mormon and our number but havent heard anthing from him yet. 

The senior couple have amish or whatever friends that make them the best pies and bread and cheese ever and they give a lot of that to us and its really good. Love you guys and I've prayed for your golf game to suck dad I'm going to be better then you when i get back just watch.

First Letter from PA - March 3, 2014

Hey whats up guys monday is my new pee day its tough holding your pee that long but im sure i will get used to it. I am in Millersburg Penn it is the coldest place and the people here suck but its awesome my companion is ten times better then my mtc one we get a long great haha hes from saint george utah  his name is elder Jones and he like paintball and says he is a semi pro paintballer both his parents are teachers hes a great guy and he likes to hunt so we share stories all the time his dad has a bigger buck then you though dad hes got a 31 inch but he said it has a kicker so that must be how it got past 30. 

Did you know the word oregon means intelligence and the word trail means get away? so pretty much the oregon trail was smart people getting away from the idiots haha its just a different type of people here they all have tiny houses but have super nice things like tvs and all that but then they will have food bank boxes laying everywhere and its gonna be hard to learn to love these people. Everyone smokes even all the members its like everyone likes the thought of going to church but dont wanna live by the stuff. the whole stake is as big as our ward it was stake conference this sunday and we have a branch that we go to that has about 30 active and then 30 who go when they can and then 30 whole got offended and say they are never going back to that church again so from less active lessons that we have taught it seems to me like there are a few people in the branch here that like to run their mouths. Elder jones and I did what they call white washing thats where they take the 2 old missionaries out and put 2 brand new ones in haha so Elder Jones has it tough trying to train in a area he has never been to. There is a senior couple on our area though and they are awesome they take good care of us they have bought us dinner and drive us to meeting and they say that every other tuesday they give us 100 dollars at costco they are great. It seems like the days feel like weeks but the weeks feel like a few days so time im sure will go bye fast. 

First letter from the MTC February 20, 2014

this key bored is all faded and lop sided and i only have a hour to email so sorry for spelling or any of that.  Anyways the mtc is good besides sitting in a classroom 10 hours a day and my companion doesn't know how to talk or know jack squat so in the role play investigators i talk the whole time cause elder casper the 6 foot 9 inch weirdo is dumb but i guess thats good cause then i learn more this role play investigator stuff is easy so far one guys was pretty tough but that's it. it would be so much easier if my companion would know anything and say something whenever i pause doesn't matter what we are talking about he goes into the plan of salvation... the food here is okay nothing great besides the chocolate milk and really good cake when they have it.  I hope that it takes dad two years before he moves the bed into your room alyssa that's my bed. hope you get to go to portland mom but if you don't just remember that you had a chance and you lost. Anyways I got my travel plans and our district here at the mtc is all going to pitt and we fly out on the 24th I'm excited to get out of here. in our district its just me and my companion and then a three sisters and if it weren't for them to be someone normal to talk to every once in a while I would probably be home right now cause I would have beat the crap out of elder casper.  I love you all so much and miss you so much i cant wait til i get home but I'm pretty excited to get to pitt i guess the rate of baptisms per missionary is below 1 and its the lowest rate in the us. but love you all and have fun without me which i know can be hard cause I'm so cool.
